Director of Communications and Special Projects of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Ahuma Ocansey popularly known as Daddy Bosco has come out to clear the air concerning the government supporting the funeral of music legends C. K. Mann and Jewel Ackah.
Speaking to Zylofon FM, he explained saying, “according to the president, the chief of staff will ensure that they(Jewel Ackah and C. K. Mann) get a befitting burial, with financial and logistic support from the state”
He emphasized that “the state is not offering a state burial.”
President Akuffo Addo assured the families of the deceased musicians of the state’s support when delegations called on him to pay a courtesy call.
The burial for Jewel Ackah has slated for the 4th of August and that of C. K. Mann on the 14 of July.
