A half of the Ruff and Smooth music duo, Ricky Osei Agyeman popularly known as Bullet, has rubbished claims that music group, , is defunct.
The founder and CEO of Rufftown Records in an interview on GHOne, claimed that the group, which comprised himself and Clement Baah Foh, popularly called Akhan is still on hold.
After close to two years of absence in the music scenes, fans thought the group was obsolete.
However, it turns out the group decided to take a break from making commercial music to work on solo projects.
Unlike Bullet, former manager of the late Ebony Reigns and current artiste manager of rising star, Wendy Shay of “Uber Driver” fame, Akhan seems to have withdrawn from music totally.
Although both members of the group were in the music industry, it was not till they formed the alliance that they gained prominence.
The group rose to fame following the release of their first album, which had hit songs like “Swagger”, “Sex Machine” and “Azingologo”.
They have won several awards including; Ghana Music Group of the Year category at the City People Entertainment Awards in Lagos and were nominated for Afro Pop Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
