Ghanaian rapper Flowking Stone has cautioned his colleague musician Okyeame Kwame never to contest for the presidency of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
Flowking Stone is the view that such high positions at Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) might have a ‘black spot on his unblemished image’.
Flowking Stone in an interview with Doreen Andoh on Joy FM advised Okyeame Kwame by saying:
“I would have vouched for Okyeame Kwame to be the MUSIGA President but at the same time, I know that he is building a type of brand that is surrounded with respect. The moment he is in that position, people will just call and insult him anyhow.
“When Kojo Antwi was with GHAMRO, there were a lot of things that could’ve tarnished his legacy. This is a much-respected man but because he got involved, his legacy was almost tarnished,” Flowking Stone reiterated.
Flowking Stone concluded by asking Ghanaians to support people occupying leadership positions because it’s not easy being at the helm of affairs in an organisation.
