OMLAFRICA to host a Cyber Security Workshop for HR Practitioners

Cyber attacks are the greatest threat to every profession, every industry & every company in the world – Ginni Rometty (IBM). It is believed two-thirds of Cyber attacks are due to Human Factors. However Cybersecurity is NOT just an IT concern; as such all Employees including HR need to be fully engaged and trained to help organisations in Africa effectively mitigate risk of cyber attacks.

According to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), “HR professionals handle sensitive personal data and manage other employees, so it’s crucial they are able to lead and protect their organisations from the threats of cyber attacks”
